Established in 1956 by the visionary Late Rajmata of Gwalior, Srimant Vijay Raje Scindia, the school stands as a testament to her commitment to educating the girl child in the context of newly independent India.

Graced by the esteemed presence of the then President of India, H.E Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the inauguration marked the beginning of a journey dedicated to grounding students in tradition while fostering the spirit of freedom.
